This week I’ve been reading the Giving and Receiving card as instructed and I think it’s starting to work! For example, when I went to return some defective tennis shoes at Skechers, the clerk did not give me a hard time but immediately offered me store credit. When I was at Pilates class yesterday, two people complimented me on my outfit. I remembered to be a grateful receiver. When I was at the grocery store last night, the cashier complimented me about how I did not look my age when he saw the bottle of wine I was buying. The best thing that has happened is that the owner of the 2 bedroom condo I’ve reserved for a Christmas ski vacation emailed me this week to ask if I would be willing to take the 3 bedroom one for the same price due to a scheduling conflict… YES! Giving has been much more fun for me lately also. Giving with a cheerful heart is more energizing than giving and wondering what will happen as far as reciprocity. Part of my job entails that I give samples of essential oils to prospective clients — with my Giving and Receiving card I am much happier doing that — and I am finding that the more I give, the more that positive things are happening in my business!!
I know that God is in control ultimately of my resources and He will never leave me — it feels great to be in His dynamic flow!
